January Birthstones

To some, the perfect gemstone is one that brings out the colours of your eyes, the shade of your skin or the hues in your hair. But, to others, each gemstone has special properties belonging to them that radiate energy and inspire emotions in the owner.

January's birthstone, Garnet, is typically associated with the colour red, but these gemstones come in a variety of colours including orange, pink, green and even black. Some believe Garnets to be a protective stone, which made them particularly popular amongst warriors and royalty in earlier years.
